EN 10225
Weldable structural steel tubes for fixed Offshore structures (Jackets)
Scope of application/ manufacturing processThis European standard specifies the requirements for construction steels qualified for welding, which are used for the manufacture of stationary offshore constructions in the form of sheet metal with a thickness of up to 150 mm; of profiles with a thickness of 63 mm, except for as-rolled profiles, which are only delivered with a thickness of up to 25 mm, as well as seamless hollow profiles with a thickness of up to and including 40 mm and of electric resistance welded hollow profiles with a thickness of up to and including 20 mm. Greater thicknesses for profiles and hollow profiles can be agreed, assumed that the technical delivery conditions of this standard are maintained.

Hollow sections shall be delivered in the condition normal annealed/normalized rolled (+N) or tempered (+QT), at the manufacturer's choice.

Note: The grades S420 and S460 are normally only available in circular form.
